Bill Basnett – Vice President of Operations

Bill began his recruiting career with Bradley-Morris, Inc. (BMI) in 1991. He was BMI’s first candidate recruiter and regional operations manager. Instrumental in establishing and implementing BMI’s candidate recruiting and hiring conference best practices, he now brings this experience to CivilianJobs.com.

Bill initially transitioned to BMI in from the Keebler Company where he was a project engineer. He is a U.S. Army Veteran where he served as a Cavalry Officer with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. He saw deployments to Germany and participated in several rotations to the National Training Center. Most recently, Bill recruited in Kuwait, supporting OIF and OEF through US Government contracted recruiting initiatives.

Bill graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace concentration. He resides in Kennesaw, GA with his wife and six children.

Vicki Washington – Senior Career Expo Coordinator

Vicki Washington serves as senior career expo coordinator for CivilianJobs.com. In this role, she is responsible for the development and execution of military to civilian job fairs held at various locations throughout the United States.

Prior to joining CivilianJobs.com, Vicki served as the active duty Senior Enlisted Public Affairs Advisor to the Chief, Army Reserve. During her 24-year military career Vicki received training for and served as a print, and later, broadcast journalist with assignments in Berlin, Germany, where she covered the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Pentagon, where she covered the September 11 attacks. During a short break in military service, she worked as television news producer in Honolulu, Hawaii and produced the number one-rated newscast in the state. Returning to active service, Vicki was selected to become editor-in-chief of Army Reserve Magazine, followed by a tour as the national exhibit program manager before being promoted to Sgt. Maj.

Vicki is a 2006 graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy. While on active duty, she was awarded the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (4 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal and Army of Occupation Medal.

Vicki resides in Jonesboro, Georgia, with her husband. She has two children, a daughter who resides with her family in Lanham, Md.; and son who resides with his family in Chicago, Ill.
